the Alcazaba

The Moorish architecture of the Alcazaba in Malaga was a wonderful photo opportunity for me.   It was fascinating how they blended bulb-shaped archways and windows with scalloped edges, decoration based on the octagon and eight-pointed star, flowing water, and gardens, all in spaces of natural light.   I tried to capture these recurring themes in these photos.
Entry to another world
Can you find the 8-point star?

This looked like an M. C. Escher drawing!

Water flows in the channel from a fountain to a pond

I hope you enjoyed my photos!
