in Venezia

I know I know I know--You have been waiting for our posts from the cruise ship.  Well, the wi-fi on board was worse than our place AND fantastically expensive besides.  We are back in Venice now.  But the next glitch is I forgot my charger so I am writing now with 5% battery left, so it is just this quick note.  We will have lots of pictures in the coming week, and yes, we had a great time.  Stay tuned for the full reports of our adventures!!

    Bari looks more interesting than I thought. I want to go to Matera and see the Stassi and stay in an Airbnb in one of the caves. If we go on the train we go to Bari first and then backtrack to Matera.

      Yes, Bari really surprised us. There is a lot to be said for going some place that you have no expectations for.

    I'm going to check out that book, My Family and Other Animals. Corfu is also on my bucket list.

      It is a great read, and when you are done, Corfu will move up on your bucket list!
